Take a Glimpse - Aillwee Cave

Aillwee Cave

This cave was formed by the glacial melt waters of an early ice age. The erosive power of the waters carved out an subterrainian river deep underneath Aillwee mountain. This river has subsided since the last ice age, leaving behind one of Ireland's most stunning caves.

Testimonials

My husband and I take the Ireland at a Glimpse guide with us whenever we visit Ireland. It is not only a money saver, but a wonderful insight to over-looked sights that you may otherwise pass by, but shouldn't miss. Sincerely, JF, Canada

"Ireland at a Glimpse" was excellent. It gave a good idea of the museums, castles, and other heritage sights worth visiting and is really good value at the cost. We recovered the R100 cost on our second visit and must have used at least another 10 coupons; so probably saved at least R560. Thanks & Regards, VW, Cape Town, South Africa
